Small hotel located within very walkable distance from ueno station - has all the basic amenities and room features. Room is appropriately sized as far as budget hotels go, but staff are very friendly even with limited English. General Japanese amenities contain: daily room cleaning (or request to not be disturbed), Dailey fresh body and face towel, bedrobe, slippers, bath wash/face scrubber towel, toothbrush, disposable razor, shoehorn, clothing deodorizer. Room has a small fridge, TV, and very quiet split AC. Bathroom very clean.

The staff were very kind and understanding, despite me not speaking much Japanese at all. Their endless patience with my lack of ability to communicate was something I cannot thank them enough for.

Hotel location is ideal in regards to sightseeing, shopping, dining out and the subway system. Keisei Ueno is very near so travel to Narita airport is easy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Location is near the train station and restaurants. Very accommodating staff. There’s a free unlimited coffee , water and microwave at the lobby.
